Opus Capital manages more than $1 billion in committed capital including prior Weiss, Peck & Greer Venture Partners Funds. In May 2006 we began investing Opus V, our most recent fund of $280 million. Having invested in more than 350 companies, we are patient, long term investors who understand early-stage investing and the paths to success. Based on this experience we are well positioned to invest in strong entrepreneurs as they build successful, market-leading companies.

We invest primarily in seed and Series A technology companies. The most important part of our early-stage investment strategy is working with committed, knowledgeable, high integrity entrepreneurs who have a vision for how their unique technology can create new markets.

We pursue opportunities in segments where the market opportunity is nascent, not crowded, and where neighboring markets have the potential to grow. We serve as lead investors throughout our involvement with portfolio companies, continually striving to be trusted advisors for the management team.
