Robert B. Carter
EVP and CIO, FedEx Corporation
In his role as CIO of FedEx, Rob Carter is responsible for the corporations' key applications and technology infrastructure. Rob joined FedEx in 1993 and has more than 25 years of systems development and implementation experience utilizing a wide variety of technologies. He has been honored with many awards and accolades from such organizations as CIO Magazine, Salomon Smith Barney, Computerworld, Business 2.0, InformationWeek, Network World and InfoWorld. Rob also serves as a member of the Saks, Inc. Board of Directors and the University of Florida Foundation Board of Trustees.
Judy Estrin
Founder and CEO, Packet Design, LLC
Hailed by BusinessWeek as a "fabled serial entrepreneur", Judy Estrin co-founded Packet Design, LLC in April 2000, subsequently spinning out three companies: Vernier Networks, Inc., Packet Design, Inc. and Precision I/O, Inc. Prior to founding Packet Design LLC, Judy was a co-founder of three other companies: Bridge Communications (acquired by 3Com), Network Computing Devices and Precept Software (acquired by Cisco Systems). Following the acquisition of Precept, Judy served as Chief Technology Officer for Cisco Systems up until she started Packet Design, LLC. Judy has been named three times to Fortune Magazine's list of the 50 most powerful women in American business. She sits on the boards of directors of The Walt Disney Company and The Federal Express Corporation.
Daniel C. Kurtzer
Former U.S. Ambassador to Israel
Daniel Kurtzer, a Career-Minister in the Senior Foreign Service until 2005, has been intimately involved in Middle East peace negotiations and the formulation of U.S. policy in the Middle East for almost three decades. His highly distinguished background includes serving as U.S. Ambassador to Egypt, as Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs, as overall coordinator of the multilateral peace negotiations and as the U.S. Representative in the multilateral Refugee Working Group. During his diplomatic career, Ambassador Kurtzer received several of the U.S. Government's most prestigious awards, including the President's Distinguished Service Award, the Department of State Distinguished Service Award, the National Intelligence Community's Award for Achievement, the Director General of the Foreign Service Award for Political Reporting and numerous Superior Honor Awards.
Regis McKenna
Honored by the San Jose Mercury News as one of the 100 people who made Silicon Valley what it is today, Regis McKenna founded Regis McKenna, Inc., a high tech marketing firm, over 35 years ago. Companies that Regis and his firm assisted in their formative years included America Online, Apple Computer, Electronic Arts, Genentech, Intel, National Semiconductor, Silicon Graphics and 3Com. Retired from active consulting since 2000, Regis is a seed-investor in high tech ventures, an author of five books on technology marketing and an active lecturer. In addition to recently serving on the International Advisory Board of Toyota Motor Company, Regis is Chairman of the Board of Advisors for the Santa Clara University Center for Science, Technology & Society and a trustee of Santa Clara University. He is also a member of numerous boards of directors including Nanosys, LignUp and Golden Gate Software.
Sam Nunn
Co-Chairman and CEO, Nuclear Threat Initiative
Sam Nunn is Co-Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Nuclear Threat Initiative, a charitable organization working to reduce the global threats from nuclear, biological and chemical weapons. He served as a United States Senator from Georgia for 24 years (1972-1996), having first entered politics as a Member of the Georgia House of Representatives, and is retired from the law firm King & Spalding. In addition to his work with NTI, Senator Nunn has continued his service in the public policy arena as a distinguished professor in the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs at Georgia Tech and as chairman of the board of the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington, DC. Senator Nunn has also served in the U.S. Coast Guard both in active duty and in the U.S. Coast Guard Reserve. He attended Georgia Tech, Emory University and Emory Law School, where he graduated with honors.

With a focus on structured investments in technology and technology-related businesses, Sandy Robertson is a principal of Francisco Partners, a $2.5 billion technology buyout fund pioneering the private equity category of Technology Buyouts. Prior to founding Francisco Partners, Sandy was the founder and chairman of Robertson, Stephens & Co., a leading technology investment bank formed in 1978 and sold to BankBoston in 1998. He was also the founder of Robertson, Colman, Siebel & Weisel, later renamed Montgomery Securities. He has had significant financing involvement in over 500 growth technology companies throughout his career including 3Com Corporation, America Online, Inc., Applied Materials, Inc., Ascend Communications Inc., Dell Computer Corporation, E*Trade Securities, Inc., Siebel Systems, Inc. and Sun Microsystems, Inc.
Richard M. Rosenberg
Chairman and CEO, BankAmerica Corporation (Retired)
Richard Rosenberg led Bank of America to become the second largest bank in the United States during his tenure, doubling both assets and net income. Prior to joining Bank of America in 1987, Richard worked at Wells Fargo Bank for more than two decades, serving as vice chairman and director in his last years there. He is a retired commander in the U.S. Naval Reserve, a member of the California Bar Association, a trustee of the California Institute of Technology, a past president of The Bankers Roundtable, the Bank Marketing Association, the Federal Advisory Council of the Federal Reserve System and a past chairman of MasterCard International. Richard is a member of numerous boards of directors including Exigen Group, the San Francisco Symphony and the Naval War College Foundation. He is chairman of the Executive Council of the University of California Medical Center.
John M. Thompson
Chairman of the Board, TD Bank Financial Group
Currently serving as Chairman of the Board of TD Bank Financial Group, John is the recently retired Vice Chairman of the IBM Board of Directors, where he was responsible for identifying and cultivating major growth initiatives and for overseeing the company's worldwide technology, manufacturing and business strategies. He began his IBM career in Canada where he held a variety of management positions, before being elected Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of IBM Canada, Ltd. in 1986. John is a member of the board of directors of the Thomson Corporation and Royal Philips Electronics and is a trustee of the Hospital for Sick Children. He is a past director of the Conference Board of Canada and of the Canadian Business Council for National Issues. He served on three Ontario Government Councils for education reform, human resources reform and industrial policy.
