Prior to helping found Opus Capital, Ron Hoffner was CFO of Robeco USA (formerly Weiss, Peck & Greer) for 15 years.

Ron has considerable experience in alternative investments, having had responsibility for fund formation, accounting, taxation and operations for numerous private equity, venture capital and investment partnerships. Positions previously held include Vice President and Assistant Controller at Goldman Sachs & Co. and Vice President at Citibank. Ron is Treasurer and serves on the Executive Board of the Jewish Federation of Rockland County and was previously on the Finance Committee of the Ronald McDonald House in New York.

Ron is a Certified Public Accountant. He holds a BA in Economics from Herbert H. Lehman College and an MBA in Accounting from Bernard M. Baruch Graduate School of Business.
